I started playing softball when I was 5. I have played many positions in past years, but have found that I like center field the best. I love diving in the field and I have a very good range in the outfield with my speed. I played varsity softball for my high school, starting in 8th grade, and helped my team earn the Southeast Conference Championship two years in a row. Individually, my freshman year, I was awarded All- Conference, All- Section, All- State HM and named to the All-State Tournament team. My sophomore year, I was awarded All-Conference and All- Section. Our team was also Section Champions and State participants for the past 2 seasons as well.
I am actively involved in my school, church and community. I have been a WEB leader and math tutor. I also volunteer with multiple organizations through my church including Feed My Starving Children and as a Vacation Bible School youth leader. I also organized a Toy's for Tots toy drive and collected over 100 toys for children in need. I am a member of my schools Key club, National Honor Society and Link Crew. Last year I was able to volunteer over 50 hours to help my community.
Academically I am in honors and accelerated courses and on the A honor roll; I really enjoy being in the classroom. I have plans to take my ACT early in December 2017. Currently my plan for college includes playing softball and majoring in elementary education.
