I have been playing softball since I was 5, and it has always been my favorite sport. When I'm on the softball field, I feel like I'm at home. Running the bases is one of my favorite things about softball. I may not be the fastest runner on the team, but my instinct for the game and hunger for the next base has gotten me to home on multiple occasions. I can play any position on the field; I have even pitched, but my passion is catching. The best thing about catching is throwing out base runners. Even though I want to play softball in college, I know that getting an education comes first. I want to earn a degree in health care and eventually become a life flight nurse.
