Personal Statement
I started playing softball at the age of 6 years old. At every practice my love for softball has grown, from the time I started until now. In my lifetime I have played a total of five sports, but the other four don't compare to softball.
I have a great work ethic and I don’t have a problem with hard work. I will put in the time and go 110% at practice and games. I will also put in extra work. I have learned to play from behind the plate, all the way in the outfield. If you were to ask me to play anywhere, I will be willing to do it and put in my best efforts.
Base running is my absolute favorite. I love getting dirty and stealing bases. I love throwing off the other team and getting them all mixed up. Getting into pickles and do trick plays are pretty fun too. I have no problem with doing anything on the base paths.
I am very outgoing and love cheering on my team, even in rough times. Music really hypes me up and I love to dance before games to get loose. I love to get my team hyped too, if all of our heads are down from the get go then we should just go home. I can also be very serious, I have my time when I’m mellow and preparing myself for the game. I try and be a leader and lead my team to the win.
The game of softball has shown me how to be tough, work hard, and have fun. I couldn’t tell you how many hours I have put into the game. I grew so many relationships with my teammates and coaches, if it wasn’t for softball I wouldn’t have those people in my life.
Playing softball in college would be a dream for me. I have watched countless hours of college games, hoping to be like them one day. With that being said, education is a big factor for me. I'm looking for a school where I can advance my education while having the time of my life playing softball. I want to go into sports management because I don’t think I could ever leave sports. Softball has my heart and that will never change.
