Personal Statement
I began playing softball when I was five years old and instantly found a love for the game. When I was ten, I decided to move on and start playing competitive softball and found a new passion and drive for the sport.
For me, my academics will always come first and it clearly reflects on my schoolwork. I've always been a straight A student that always wants to learn more. I plan to continue on the path I'm on right now, at the top of my class and achieving my academic goals.
On the athletic level, I play softball and basketball. I'd definitely like to continue to play softball once I'm out of high school and in college. My primary position would either be shortstop or outfield. For my secondary position I'd like to pitch.
I pride myself in many other things too, including sportsmanship, a great work ethnic, and independence. I believe I could truly excel in a college environment, while setting a good example for anyone around me. I think I will set myself apart from the other girls with my set priorities and great characteristics.
