My name is Khirsten Terrell. I am 17 years old and I attend Glacier High School in Montana. When I first stepped on a softball field, the aspiration that I gained for the sport escalated. Having the opportunity to play a sport that not only allows you to gain structure, but friendship and perseverance, is something that inspired me to play this sport and I soon gained to love. I want to play softball at a collegiate level because I want to be pushed to my fullest potential, where I make mistakes, but get stronger and grow as a person. Softball is a sport that I am very passionate about where I am able to gain confidence in myself and influence others to have confidence in themselves. Not only is softball a mind game, but having the right attitude and a positive mindset is immensely important, and having great teammates is greatly effective. These are contributions that I would bring to the field.
Not only on the field is important, but off the field is also greatly important for players like me. When it comes to academics, I do not waste my time. Having the most effective education I can give myself is very important to me, knowing that I can apply this to the field and the real world. Taking the extra mile to get the grades that I want is something that I will do, to be a loyal player on the field.
