Callen Heule '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Callen Heule, I am a 2025 RHP from Columbus High School. I have learned every position on the field so I can be utilized anywhere that I am needed. I have played softball for ten years and I have been pitching for eight years. As a freshman, I pitched on the Junior Varsity team and as a sophomore I pitched and played first base on the Varsity team.  As a junior, I started as pitcher in almost every Varsity game, but if I was not pitching I was playing first base and sometimes third base. For pitching, I ended my season with a total of 1867 pitches and 48 strikeouts. For hitting, I ended my season with a batting average of .310, 27 hits, 13 walks, and 16 RBIs. I know how to work hard for myself and for my team. I can easily adapt to new situations and push myself and my teammates to be better on and off the field. I am looking for a program that fits me both academically and athletically. I would prefer to stay somewhere close to Nebraska, but if an opportunity that works for me comes up, I will gladly take it!
