Samantha Frungillo '11 Recruiting Profile

I always strive to achieve the highest results I can, in both academics and athletics. My strong work ethic, motivation and dedication to being the best I can in the classroom, in life and on the field helps me accomplish these results. Since receiving my first report card, I have always made the honor roll and most recently achieved high honors. I've achieved this while taking several advanced placement and honors classes, in addition to balancing my softball schedule and social activities. My love for softball is second to none. I play a fall schedule with my travel team in addition to the traditional spring/summer schedule. I also play in a winter indoor league with teammates mostly from my high school. To improve my skills, I attend weekly hitting and catching/fielding lessons, as well as workout with a personal trainer while practicing with both teams. My social activities include going out with my friends, assisting with a baseball league designed specifically for the physically and mentally challenged and delivering food to shelters around the holidays. I also help a former coach of mine with her 12U softball team. In conclusion, I would like to continue to achieve the highest results I can both academically and in softball at a college, whether large or small, that has both an outstanding academic and softball program.
