Personal Statement

My dream is to play college softball! I play for SJ Mystics 18U Louisville Slugger Select. I am a student at Notre Dame High school in Lawrenceville NJ, where I have a 3.8 GPA. I've been a starter on the Varsity Softball team since freshman year. 

In 2022, I was selected 1st team CVC, 1st Team all area, and 3rd Team All-state .  

In 2023, I was selected 1St team All CVC, All Area 1st Team and 2nd Team All Non-Public. I was also awarded MVP for Notre Dame and led the team with hits, runs and  stolen bases and a +400AVG! 

We also won the CVC Title in 2021 and 2023!!

I play primarily shortstop and am a secondary center and second. I throw right and have been a slapper for 4 years. My home to the first time is 2.75.  Outside of softball, I enjoy skiing, jet skiing, drawing, and riding bikes with my family.  My softball Instagram is @ellamccolgan2024 for any extra highlight videos.
