Bobbie Mayer '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Bobbie Mayer, I am 16 and the class of 2024 at Gateway Regional High School in Woodbury Heights, NJ.  I am a determined, hardworking, and motivated person and player. I take pride in my ability to work well with others and my dedication to the sport. I am always looking for ways to improve my skills. I have been fortunate enough to play with and against some incredible talent, and I have learned so much from them. Softball has taught me the importance of perseverance, especially in the face of adversity. Weather it is a tough loss or an injury, I have learned that the key is to keep pushing forward and never give up. 

In the classroom I am always ready to learn. I am looking for a school that can push and challenge me to my highest academic level. I plan to major in Business and minor in Marketing. After graduation, I plan to peruse a career in Real Estate Development. 

 The feeling of running onto the field, glove in hand, is one of my favorite feelings in the world. I am looking for a team that can push me to be the best athlete I can be. I believe that one of the most important things to have on the field is a good attitude. When a teammate makes a mistake it is important to have there back and pick them up.
