Growing up my parents Drilled into my head that education was the key to success. Getting to play at the Collegiate level would allow me to do two of the things I love getting to play softball and gain a stronger education. With that being said my name is Brooklyn Cardenas, I'm a 15 year old Sophomore from Santa Fe, New Mexico who attends Capital High School and I will be graduating in the year 2026.
When I was younger I was diagnosed with dyslexia which came with some challenges. Knowing this, that meant I had to work harder and excel in the classroom, it meant getting extra help from teachers and tutors and pushing myself to get the most out of what was taught to me. Now that I am in high school I'm enrolled in my high school's medical programs to get a jump on my future career as a nurse practitioner.
As a little kid ive always wanted to play at the highest level of softball working on drills in my room or even in the cold ask my dad to throw with me and hit me grounders and ask to go hitting. I'm alway talk and cheering on my teammeats and letting my pitch now that I have her back and thrasher got this. If I have to play a position that isnt my primary of secondary i'm going to like it is and do my best and if i'm not hitting am burnting to score the girl on third and help my team out and try my hardest. This last year durning high school I bunted and the girl at third scored and i made it to first base.
