College Showcase ...Personal Statement
Over the past two seasons, I had the extraordinary opportunity to play for Mepham Varsity High School Team. During my freshman season we loss in the Nassau County Class A finals. Individually and as a team, we were determined to win it all the following season. This past season, we accomplished our goal of winning the Nassau County Class A championship, the 1st in our school's history. This experience has taught me many life lessons about setting goals and how to achieve those goals.
It required much hard work, self sacrifice and providing unwavering support for teammates, especially when things get difficult. I try to apply this to all aspects of my life, from the softball field to the classroom to being a good daughter and sibling.
