Hello Coaches! Thanks for taking the opportunity to view my profile. My name is Samantha and I am 16 years old. I currently play for my high school Varsity Team as their starting shortstop. Academically, I am currently in the 11th grade taking advanced courses and advanced placement classes. For my college future, my goal is to go to a Division 1 college. I would like to attend a school that is competitive in softball and has my desired major. My academic goal is to achieve a bachelor's degree in Criminology with Forensics Concentration. Once I have finished college I intend to be a Forensic Specialist.
Athletically, I started playing baseball as young as five years old and started playing softball in my first year of middle school. I picked up softball pretty quickly and grew to love the energy it comes with. I am a hard working, competitive team player. When I'm on the field, I like to win, and I like to make sure I improve as well as help the rest of my teammates improve. I strive to become one of the best players in softball and I will work hard, play hard, and do whatever it takes to make sure I go as far as my mind and body will take me. I play my heart out every game and every time I step on the field. I play infield, outfield, and am even working on my pitching skills to further my playing time. I'm different from other recruits because I have a mentality of giving everything I set my eyes on my 100% and playing on the field every time like it's my last performance.
