My name is Amber Hermanson and I am the class of 2025. I have two brothers that are three and a half years older than I am so I grew up at the ball field watching them play. I started playing baseball when I was 4 years old. As I got older I realized I had a love for the sport, it was something that I always wanted to play. My coaches have always said that I have a natural understanding for the sport. With my skill level I would play on my brother's teams when they needed a sub. When I was 12 years old I switched over to softball and we ended up winning the league championship. Now at 14 and playing travel, this is still the sport I'm so passionate about. I have played in the All-Americian Games in Dec. 2021 and Aug. 2022. From that I made the elite team both times and play in them in April 2022 and Dec. 2022. I will be going to Spain in July 2023 with the America's Team organization to play the sport I love. I also love to volunteer for my local little league and help teach the girls the fundamentals of the sport. I take AP and Excelerated classes in school and was excepted into the National Honor Society. I also play basketball for school. I can't wait to see what my future holds. I will continue to learn everything I can about the sport I love.
