Alivia Delgado '28 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches/administrators,

 my name is Alivia Delgado and I live in Saugerties, New York, and attend Saugerties Highschool where I will graduate in the class of 2028. I play travel softball for the Saugerties Sonics and the Mid-Hudson Rebels. I also play for my modified school team. I am a catcher and a utility player. my biggest goal is to play for a D1 college softball team or any division as long as I get to play the sport I love and enjoy while also getting the best education possible. My biggest goal is to go to a college where I can play the best while getting better each day. As an 8th grader, I hold a 95% average while being on the honor roll. I'm so excited NCSA can be a part of my softball journey and I can show everyone on here my skills. As an 8th grader, I play on 14u so I'm introduced to new techniques very often since I play with older girls. I love that because that is what makes me a better player for the future. Since I learn new things early and fast even behind the plate or as well in the outfield I become the best player I can for my future. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I always put my grades before everything so I can continue playing my sport. I'm also a hardworking player. I take corrections easily and fast. I always have a positive attitude and I'm always lifting my teammates on and off the field. What makes me different from others is my passion for the sport. I use softball as a place where I feel good about myself and I'm happy. What also makes me different from others is my versatility the reason why is that I can play almost any position you need me to and I will know what my job is in that position. The last thing that makes me different is my drive. I am always working towards my goals whether it's in the classroom or on the field.
