Olivia Somers '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was 3. I developed my love for the sport from my dad, who has helped coach me throughout my entire career. I always strive to do my best whether that is on the field, or in the classroom. I set my expectations high, and always make sure I am prepared. Along with softball, I play basketball and volleyball. During each sport season, I work hard to make sure I can perform to the best of my ability. My competitive nature pushes me to practice more with whatever extra time I have. I started playing travel softball when I was 10, which made me fall in love with the game even more. Playing with new people allowed me to become a better teammate and person. As of now, I plan on studying exercise science and becoming an athletic trainer.
