Addison Agatucci-...Personal Statement
My name is Addison Agatucci, and I am 16 years old. I will be graduating from East Chapel Hill High School in 2015. I've been a varsity starter on my high school team since freshman year. I'm also a varsity starting left forward for the East field hockey team, and last year we won the state championship for the 6th time in a row.
I have always loved competing, especially when sports were involved. Over the years, I have tried everything from swimming to lacrosse, but softball has always been my favorite. I started playing baseball at the age of 7, then transferred over to softball at age 9. My high school team hasn't always been filled with experienced players, and I have become the coach's "go-to" player to fill various positions. I am a very versatile player, and have played all positions except pitcher and 1st base during my high school seasons.
Outside of sports, I love history, spending time with my dog, traveling, riding my bike, and playing video games with friends. My preferred major would be either Engineering or Environmental Studies, but I am still open to other ideas.
