Chelsea Jones '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Chelsea! I just started my senior year of high school at Franklin County Early College High School in Louisburg, NC.  I am a 2024 grad, and will be graduating with my high school diploma and an associate of science degree.  This is typically a five year program however,  I have been taking extra classes which has allowed me to complete this in only four years.

I am currently a starting middle infielder for my travel team, EC Bullets Thorpe.  I am a utility player and play strong wherever I am needed.  I love showing my utility in the outfield! My high school does not offer sports.  However, I do play school softball for Franklinton High School in Franklinton, NC.  (This is the school I would typically attend if I was not enrolled in an early college program). This will be my final year playing for the Lady Rams and I was selected as team captain this year. I am a true utility player for my school team playing every position, even catcher and pitcher! 

I want to study nursing and then either become a nurse practitioner or possibly go on to med school. I want to play college ball because softball is my passion! Being able to do what I love while pursuing my educational goals has been a lifelong dream of mine.  I am a great choice for your program because I have a proven track record of academic excellence and a strong desire to succeed doing what I love, both on and off the field.
