My goals on, and off the field are pretty similar. I strive to be a leader and to be the best version of myself. Each place I go, I hope to make a positive impact. I would first like to be at a school that will prepare me for life after softball. In the classroom, I’ve maintained all A’s and high Bs as a freshman taking all Honors and AP courses. I will continue to challenge myself each year, to further prepare myself for college. I view myself as a leader on the field, and in the classroom. Something that makes me stand out as a player is my leadership, work ethic, and my softball IQ. I love learning, and I am a very loud and outgoing player. As a leader, I believe you have to be coachable and be able to take in other ideas. Even if it makes you uncomfortable at first, it’s going to make you a better player in the end. You also have to be able to communicate with your teammates efficiently. I love to work for my spot, I don’t want anything handed to me. I put in many hours a day to become better. I spend about two hours, six times a week in the gym. My ability to think through each situation quickly makes me stand out as well. I believe all of these things can not be taught, it’s something you as a player just naturally have. In college, I want to develop more as a player mentally and physically. I want to be a part of a successful program, and I want to have an impact not only on myself but my teammates and others around me.
