Keagan Wilkerson '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing organized softball since I was 5. My love of the game started even earlier though - my aunt had a bat in my hand at age 2! I spend my time outside of school training to become a better player. When I am not on the field competing with my school team or travel ball team, I am conditioning for the next tournament. I am a team player - a true believer that there is no I in TEAM. When I am pitching, of course I want the strike-out, but I'm perfectly fine with them hitting the ball too. I know I have a team of girls behind me who will make the play.

I also know that in order to excel on the field, I have to excel off the field, in the classroom. I take honors classes to challenge myself. I keep a planner to make sure I know what's due when. I ask for help when I need it.

My dream is to play college softball, hopefully on a scholarship (to help my mom and dad out).
