I am Carmyn Weiner. I am a 5'6” pitcher/first baseman and I would love to play softball at the collegiate level. I have been playing softball since I was five years old and I fell in love with the sport immediately. I played on my high school's JV team where I pitched and played first base. Being a pitcher has taught me many things, but the main lesson is that failure is okay as long as you learn and use the failure to better yourself. As I've gotten older, my love for the game has grown with me. Softball has been all I've known for the past ten years, and I want to continue working hard and getting better at the sport I love.
I am a hard worker, not only on the softball diamond, but also in the classroom. I hold a 3.5 GPA and take all advanced classes. I am in my sophomore year, and I aim to be a part of NHS as a junior. I want to attend a college that will help me academically and lead me to pursue a successful career. As of right now, I haven't made my mind up on exactly what I want to study in college. In both school and softball I strive to succeed and be the best that I can. I am not only an excellent athlete and teammate, but I am also an excellent student.
