2-Run Homer Personal Statement
My name is Kira Weikert. I am 17 years old and will be graduating in the class of 2022. My primary position is Outfield but I can play anywhere but catcher. I am very passionate and dedicated to softball. When I am on and off the field I am Constantly thinking what I can do better to grow as a player. Some of my biggest achievements in my softball career are starting 2nd base as a freshman on the varsity team, getting most valuable player my junior year, 2021 Division 4 YAIAA first team utility player of the year, and 2022 YAIAA Division 4 Pitcher and Player of the year. I am also on a travel team where I play mostly Outfield, shortstop, and pitch.
School is something I take very seriously. I always make sure I never fall behind with my school work. I am constantly thinking about my future. When I think about my future I in-vision majoring in Medical sonography and I see myself in a softball program that will challenge me and help me grow as a player.
