Personal Statement
I've been playing since I was 10 years old and have been hooked ever since. I can't imagine not getting to play in the dirt or smell my leather glove. I believe in hard work, honesty and fairness. Some players may be better, but I believe no one works harder. I give my all, every time. I currently play three varsity sports in high school, have been inducted into the junior honor society and anchor club. I also volunteer at Wild Life Action which is a summer youth camp. I believe softball has provided me with the ability to be a leader on and off the field, taught me how to be a good teammate, how to encourage others and how to push myself. I'm going to play college softball and use this as a stepping stone to prepare me whatever life circumstances come my way. I'm going to play because I want too!
