My parents are always telling me to never give up on my dreams to accomplish my dreams. With both my dad and old brother in the military, it has influenced me to follow my dreams and do what I want to do. This last year my team didn't have a pitcher that had been pitching since they began playing. This inspired me to overcome the challenge and become the player my team needed.
I became interested in softball when I was about 8. There were older girls from my town that left our slow pitch team, and they kept talking about how much fun it was. Don't get me wrong slow pitch was fun when I was 6, but as I got older I wanted something more interesting and challenging. Academically I would like to finish high school in the top five of my class and have straight A's. As far as college goes, I want to finish towards the top of the class. Softball is my go to sport over volleyball, basketball, and track, and I believe I have what it takes to play at the college level.
