Riley Washburn '26 Recruiting Profile

Softball is what I live and breathe. Ever since I can remember I have been on the field. Ever since I was six years old my mom and dad have been driving me all across the country to play the sport I love. I would give anything to continue my softball career collegiately and show everyone that the sacrifices my family has made over the years were worth it. I love this sport. Softball teaches mental toughness and determination. I have grown in both aspects. I am different from other athletes because I have something to prove. I refuse to let my family and my team down. I have put my blood sweat and tears into the sport and I will do anything to win. Starting varsity as a Freshman is only the tip of the iceberg of my potential as a player. I plan to keep improving and growing my skillset over the span of my high school career and during college.
