Hi I'm Sheridan House, graduating Senior at Tarkington High School. My goals and aspirations for collegiate level softball is to show my God given talent, be a Team leader, show my love for the game, encourage my teammates to succeed, and importantly do my absolute best.  I have played my entire life and it has always been my sport, my safe place, and my favorite thing to do. 

My first year on Varsity, I was graciously awarded the "Goolsby Hustle Award", which is a special award to honor a student at Tarkington who sadly died in a car accident. Jerod Goolsby was known for his joy and love for the game, always wore a smile on his face. When his teamates were down, he lifted them up with a joy, because he played until the very end of the game. I was awarded this prestigous award for playing like him...tenacious! I strive to be the player that is a roll model to everyone, constantly growing and learning. I believe my greatest achievement in softball is realizing my God who created my talent is here to help me shine for Him during the game.  That different mindset has emboldened me to be a better player. The same driving force on the softball field is the same in the classroom. I don't want to fail in the classroom so I work hard on the field. My GPA is a 5.03 out of 5.0. I am graduating with an Associates of Science  degree by pushing myself to become a better person than I was yesterday. I will always give 110% on and off the field and in the classroom. My motto is easy- just like me, life is short...work/play HARD!
