So far the most exciting part in my softball career was going to the California Jr. Olympics in 2018. Being able to participate in the tournament with the best of the best in the state was exciting and a great learning experience. It gave me the commitment and the drive to continue my softball career. My softball career started at the age of 4 when my mother placed me on my first rec. team. One of the most important aspects in softball is being a team player. When you are on the field with your team you're a unit and you work as one.
Softball has taught me you need to work hard to achieve my goals. One of my goals for this upcoming school year is to make honor role as a freshmen. During my years of playing softball I wanted to play at a higher level, I was constantly told that I was too weak, to slow and not good enough to play at a higher level. This made me realize in order to achieve big goals I had to set small ones first. Soon I became faster, stronger and I developed my softball IQ. When I moved to Texas I finally made a team I've always pursued on playing on.
