My name is Farrah Lemus, a 2025 graduate, and I have been playing for the Corona Angels organization since 2018. I currently play as an OF and Corner for Corona Angels 16U Coleman. I have a 3.8 GPA and I'm involved in my school's National Honor Society. In the summer of 2022, my team qualified for Alliance in California and also the supplemental bracket at the Colorado Sparkler tournament. In the summer of 2022-2023, I was invited to academic showcases in Colorado as well. Recently this past summer in Colorado, my team and I won our bracket that led into the championship series. Our ranking after the tournament was 8th in the state and 23rd nationally. During my time in Colorado, I went to the Stars of Tomorrow camp and was chosen out of the top 60 players in the class of 2025 to go out to Chicago and compete. We also competed in Alliance and made it to the championship of the super-regionals. I want to continue to learn the game and hone my skills. Academically, I am looking to pursue the path to major in Business Management, where I will strive to do my best and also grow as an athlete. In addition, I work hard for what I want and I look at challenges with a growth mindset. Resilience and striving to not only work for myself but for my teammates is what sets me apart from others.
