Rebecca Osgoood '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is a Rebecca Osgood and I am a Junior at Thetford Academy High School in Thetford, Vermont. During my years at college my plan is to study Criminal Justice as a major and Environmental Science as my minor. My long term goal is to become a game warden in New England. I have been an athlete since Kindergarten where I learned to play soccer, basketball, and softball. I grew up in a small community and sports were really all there was to do. I learned how to be a teammate, how to work with others, how to build skill and become better at something. I have the drive and desire to be the best that I can be, I take pride in my athletics and dedication to my teams. I feel like I am a good candidate because I always put 100% effort into every practice and game. My experience of an athlete hasn't always been the best, but I feel as though I can make the best of what I am given, and I always try to stay positive and supportive to all of my teammates. I have been a captain for my JV basketball team and now I am in the role on my Varsity softball team. I am a very coachable athlete and love to hear feedback on how I can better myself.
