Alyssa Flores '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Alyssa Flores, and I am an International Baccalaureate junior at Hampton High School located in Hampton, Virginia. I have been playing on varsity softball since my freshman year, and completed one year of Junior varsity my 8th grade year. My main positions are outfield and catcher. I was captain of the team my sophomore year of highschool where I played at Hampton Christian Academy. There I received a Warriors award for most valuable player on the team. I played for the Senior Little League at Phoebus-Wythe, where we became District 7 Champions, and competed in the state tournament, ranking 4th place. Regards from softball I have been in the marching band at Hampton for three years and have been playing trumpet since sixth grade. Some of my academic achievements are that I have received honor roll throughout my highschool career, Sophomore class representative, member of Tri-M National Music Honor Society, President of the Science National Honor Society, and member of Rho Kappa. Being in the rigorous International Baccalaureate program, it has allowed me to complete many hours of community service from painting the school, cleaning up around the community, and other small volunteer opportunities. I am very passionate when it comes to my education because I want to put forth all of my effort, so I can be the best I can be. That is also my mindset on the field. I put in all I can to show all the potential I truly have.
