Personal Statement

I love to play softball.

I really do not know where I want to go to college but do know where ever I go I want to play softball. I believe I can be a strong contributor to any team as I have special skills as an athletic ballplayer.

Defensively, I have a really strong throwing arm, can cover a lot of ground as a shortstop. It was so strong, my HS Varsity Coach made me a starting 3B as a Freshman on a team that made it to the State semi-finals.

Offensively, I have always batted with a high batting average and this year (2013) I began to develop my home run power by hitting 8 HR in our fall 35 game travel schedule. I am a pretty fast runner as well and can be a very effective base stealer. Some of that comes from my Dad, who was a D-1 Wide Receiver and Mom that was a track athlete.

I am a fierce competitor that comes to play every game. Some mistake my toughness for arrogance. I am just highly competitive.
