Megan Newcomb '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Megan Lynn newcomb. I am 5'4 and weight 150lbs. My life is sports. I grew up as an athlete and my passion is softball. I played softball my 8th grade year on JV as a catcher for half of the season and as short stop for the other half. As a freshman, I started as the third baseman on Varsity. I'm quick on the field and always hustling. I like to think that there isn't a ball that I cannot get to. Since I was little, my desire was to play on a college team. My goal is to keep getting better and to be the best player I can possibly be. I try my hardest and give my best effort in everything I do. I achieved 1st Team All-Distrcts and Honerable Mention Region 3 on Varsity my freshman year and the same awards my sophomore year in high school. I'm not exactly sure what college I would like to attend or what  I plan on majoring in, but as of now, I'm open for any opportunity. I aim to get a good education and be apart of a great softball program. Thank you for your time.
