Dakota Potter '25 Recruiting Profile

I quickly developed a love for the game when I started playing softball at the age of 5 and I have been playing softball ever since. I have played Babe Ruth, travel softball, and high school softball. This past year while playing on a travel team and my high school team I would attend practices 5 days a week and on some days multiple practices a day. I can pitch, play outfield, and middle infield. I have also played 1st when the team has needed me there. I enjoy playing in the outfield because of my speed and ability to track the ball but also enjoy playing in the infield to be in the middle of the action. I am a dedicated and hardworking player. I am very supportive of my teammates and respectful to my coaches. I have been told that I am very coachable and I have an contagious attitude.  

I would love the opportunity to pursue playing at the College level, but my education is my main goal after high school.  I have two possible areas of study in mind, Veterinarian or Pediatrics. I am considered very studious and worked hard to maintain above a 4.0 GPA so far in high school.  Once I set goals, I work very hard to achieve them.
