Hi!
My name is Emily and I want to play softball in college!
I am a hardworking, goal driven student athlete. I have a 4.0 GPA, taking AP and honors level courses while juggling multiple high school sports as well as a rigorous travel softball schedule.
I became a varsity starting catcher as a freshman, and earned the spot by working hard in 8th grade to learn this position. I continued to work on my own and really improved as a sophomore, receiving district team nominations as catcher. I worked even harder last off-season, focusing only on softball, and was rewarded with a great junior season with our team winning the conference championship, achieving a record of 20-4, and personally being named to the 1st Team All District team in a very competitive district.
I love learning, love being physically fit and strong, and want a program that will fit well with me academically and athletically. I will bring the right qualities to any softball program because of my willingness to listen and learn to get better. I feel my experience in leadership, competing under stress, dealing with successes and failures and my strong academic record will make me a good fit for your program.
