I am very active in my school club's like Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), National Honor Society, and Pep Club. I have participated in Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball all my years of high school. I have great leadership and was team captain for volleyball and basketball my Sophomore and Junior year. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking all Honor classes during my high school career. I would like to receive a bachelors degree in biology and then continue on to a medical school.
I want to continue competing in softball after high school because I cannot see myself stopping. I have played softball for about ten years. I love the game and have a respect for those who play it at the high levels. I enjoy the team aspect and that it is not an individual sport where everyone I focused solely on one person. I enjoy a team aspect because you can help pick each other up after a tough play or lose.
Coaches would describe me as a dedicated player. I am always to practice early and have rarely missed practices. I am always hustling to and from drills. I try during practice to get as many repetitions in as possible. Coaches would say that I am a hard worker during every practice and that I do not stop because there is a break during games. My teammates would say that I am loyal to them. I believe that nothing can be achieved by one person during the game of softball because everything is a team effort. I am always picking up teammates after a missed place or a tough at bat. Teammates are there to help each other.
I am looking for a coach who is wanting to get the most out of his or her player. I want a coach who will push me to my limits so that I can become the best player that I can become. I would like to play softball at a Division II, Division III, a Junior College, or a NAIA college. I would like to play as much as I possible can during my years of college, so I would like a team where I could begin playing right away. I would like a team that is competitive, but also a team that acts like a family. I would like a team that its players can really work well with each other.
