Personal Statement

My name is Taylor Gilbert, I'm a Junior at Pomeroy Jr./Sr. High School in a very small town Pomeroy WA. I've been playing Varsity softball since 8th grade, Freshman year I was nominated for Player of the Week. Sophomore year I was challenged by adding catcher to my resume & I loved it. Ended the season with winning "Golden Glove" award. Looking forward to hopefully playing college softball. 

I'm a 3 sports varsity letter, 2 time all league for Volleyball. 2022 & 2023. Also 2 year Varsity Basketball Guard. 

I'm different from other recruits because I will put the work in to make program successful. I take leadership seriously. I will be representing 2024 Varsity Volleyball team as Captain and I will make sure that the girls know I'm there for anything anytime and make it fun.
