Jaylene Sanchez '19 Recruiting Profile

    Although, i was only eight years old when I first put on a glove, I immediately fell in love with the sport. I began to practice everyday, and when I was not practicing I was watching it on T.V. Not too long after, I began to play year round club ball. There I met two of my biggest mentors. Under their leadership I gained confidence and became a better player and person. They both taught me that I can turn my dream of playing at a collegiate level into a reality, just as they did.  Since then, I work hard and strive to achieve the big goals I have set for myself. Athletically, I stay well conditioned and accept and work on my faults. Athletically and academically, I ask questions and I challenge myself by exceeding the limits set before me.
