Katrina Wangen '21 Recruiting Profile

I will be attending University of Central Florida in Fall 2021. I have been wrestling since 7th grade, or 2015. I would love to pursue wrestling in college and potentially on the world stage. I have a strong work ethic and love to sweat it out on the mat with a good training partner. I have also consistently been in coaching positions, both through working with the local junior wrestling team and teaching the new wrestlers on my own team. Helping others find and pursue their passion for wrestling is an experience like no other. I have also always been a hard working and successful student, with a 3.91 GPA and a 3.85 core GPA. Working hard is something I have always been very good at, and it has made me quite successful in the things I do.
