Brooklyn Vanden Branden '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooklyn Vanden Branden, I am a sophomore, and I attend Monona Grove High School. I’ve known I wanted to play at the college level since I was 11 years old. I would watch college softball games in awe, making my love for the game grow bigger. I started pitching later than most players, at age 13, but that has never stopped me. I throw a fastball, changeup, drop, screwball, and I continue to work on other variations. I am a hard worker and a fast learner who works to improve everyday. Not only do I love the game, I love the feeling it gives me. I love the feeling of making friendships through softball, the feeling of winning a game, and especially the feeling of seeing improvements in my playing. No matter what level, whether it be D1, D2, D3, or Juco, my dream of playing ball would come true.
