Personal Statement
Most people look at my height and discredit me on that alone. Fact is, I've never considered that anything wasn't possible because of my height. I have never competed as such, and never will. I out-rebound players over a foot taller than me. I can go toe to toe, and win the ball, against players that out weight me by 100lbs. I see the goal and reach for it with everything in me. I am tenacious on defense, fast and love to compete. I see the ball and have no problem taking it from anyone on the other side of it. I see the floor/court and make wise decisions based on all variables presented.
I love sports and the competition they allow. I compete, not for honors or accolades, but for the pure joy of the competition. If I get an award or accolade from that, great. If my team gets the W, awesome. I've done my job. I will fill whatever role I need to make my team successful.
