Personal Statement

I am very passionate about basketball and have been playing through my whole childhood and I've fallen in love with the sport.  I also set my goals high to give me something to work towards.  There is always something to get better at.  Seeing my dreams start to play out is just making me work harder to get there.  I made Varsity my Freshman year and was the 6th man my Sophomore year and even started in the 2023 4A State Championship game, which we won.  I became a starter and co-captain my Junior year and can't wait to lead my High School team my senior year.  I like to consider myself a very well rounded player who can play both sides of the ball and has played every position this past season, even though I spent most of my time playing on the wings.  I would love to attend a college that will continue to push me to be a better player and person.

  • PGC Scoring College
  • 6/04/24 to 6/08/24
  • Beyond skills, this camp equips players with a champion’s mindset for their career — and life. Through our teachings and special competitions, players have this mindset strengthened every day: Adversity – How to be ‘unruffleable’ in every situation. Resilience – How to build mental toughness with every decision. Mistake-response – How to respond to mistakes with composure.

  • 10/01/23 to 10/01/23
  • The College Basketball Prospect ID events are the last premier event prior to the 2023-24 high school and college basketball seasons beginning. The event serves as a great way to get in front of college coaches, on the basketball court, just prior to your seasons and theirs.
  • Camp/Event
  • PGC Fall Shooting College
  • 9/09/23 to 9/10/23
  • Make sure you send your child to camp with their notebook and pen because our top-rated shooting specialists are going to help them learn things like: The #1 mistake players make before a game even starts that’s all but guaranteed to crush their shooting confidence no matter how much time they spend practicing. (This is something that can be fixed within 5 seconds and doesn’t require changing their shooting mechanics.) Why thinking like a ‘mad scientist’ might just be the fastest way ever discovered to consistently knock down more shots in games. A “crash course” on how to build their own personal step-by-step shooting workout based on a 3-part formula our team learned while training with NBA shooters. (Without these 3 steps, it’s nearly impossible to translate practice performance into game results.) How to develop a lightning-quick release that can potentially lead to getting off more shots and scoring more points. (The same drill that can help make this possible for your child also helped make Klay Thompson one of the NBA’s top shooters. It’s also worked to help countless PGC Grads such as Denver Nuggets, Jamal Murray.)
  • Camp/Event
  • Prep Girls Hoops Arizona Top 250 Expo
  • 9/03/23 to 9/03/23
  • Each Top 250 Expo will be led by a Prep Girls Hoops Event Director who will speak to the group about the recruiting process. Players will then break out into their pre-assigned team and play live 5 on 5 games in a play-sit-play-sit-play sit format. Players will be coached by local college and high school coaches. All players will receive equal playing time.
  • Camp/Event
  • All-American Camp
  • 7/29/23 to 7/30/23
  • All-American Camps are all run by current or former COLLEGE coaches. With over 250 years of combined college and professional coaching experience our staff understands how to help players improve and achieve their goal of playing college basketball. All-American Camps are run just like college or professional workouts. These camps are intense and for serious basketball players only.
  • Camp/Event
  • EXACT Basketball National Showcase Camp
  • 7/03/23 to 7/30/23
  • College coaches coach you during drills and evaluate you during your pro-style metrics showcase. See how you stack up with a 1-on-1 college evaluation.
  • Camp/Event
  • The Section 7
  • 6/15/23 to 6/17/23
  • The Section 7, hosted by the Arizona Basketball Coaches Association and sanctioned by the Arizona Interscholastic Association, will be held in Glendale June 18-20 at State Farm Stadium, where the NFL Arizona Cardinals play and where the NCAA Final Four once was held.
  • Camp/Event
  • PGC Scoring College
  • 6/05/23 to 6/09/23
  • Develop These Skills In this camp, players discover how to: Beat their defender off the catch and dribble Finish creatively in the paint like Steph Curry Take charges and get the call like Debbie Black Get their shot off against taller, longer defenders Use fakes to create advantages like Candace Parker Use their training time better so they improve faster Read and attack ball screen defenders like Jamal Murray Players transform in these areas and return to their team with the ability to read the defense, get buckets, and stand out on any court.
