Basketball to me is my getaway. If i’m having a bad day i use to call up my coach and say i need the gym door unlocked, i have got to the point where my coach leaves one of the doors unlocked for me. Even if i’m just bored i’ll be up there bc i head my mind set to winning state but for now i am focusing on district tournament and we will see where we go from there. I would love to play college ball, but to that i have to have good grades and that’s what comes first at the moment. I have about a 3.0-3.5 GPA every year. I always stay after school to practice or shoot around with the boys, occasionally i go to the weight room but i like to focus on what i struggle on in games and work on them in practice. I use to be terrible at using my left hand, i’ve gotten better because i’ve worked on it every day since i realized if someone tied my left hand behind my back i would play just the same as i do with both hands free. That bothered me, i don’t like people knowing my weaknesses during games so now they all say guard her right side but what they don’t know is i’ve been working on my left hand and go right pass them. Anyways i’m a hard worker and will stay in that gym till everything is perfect, my grades are good and my athletic mindset is exactly where it needs to be but i’m ready to push even harder than i already do.
