Sydney Overton '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play high level basketball in college.  I aspire to go DI at some point and grow to  play professionally.  Academically I’d like to get my masters degree in psychology.

I’m a really good shooter, can handle the ball with both hands, and will be aggressive in the paint.  I am very strong around the rim and mostly finish with my left hand, while being right hand dominant.   

I am a little more on the quiet side until I get to know you.  I like to stay humble, although I am willing to outwork anyone at any time in order to reach a level ahead of others.  I train 2-3 times a day, including in the mornings before school and involve myself in dynamic training.  Academically, my GPA has gotten higher since I started high school, have been a 3.5 achiever and strive for a 4.0.
