Hello, my name is Jennifer Altshuler and I am from Colorado. I play basketball for BC Denver 17U under Gabriella Jimenez. I attend Holy Family High School and I have maintained an unweighted 4.0 GPA. For the past four years I have been in advanced classes for both math and English and I have been a part of GT (Gifted and Talented) for both subjects. I have also participated in National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). Recently, I have been thinking about what I want to study in college. I have been interested in health sciences and coaching basketball. I have always seemed to have a love and appreciation for the game and being a coach can help me share that appreciation to other people.
Since I first started playing basketball in first grade, my dream has always been to be the best possible basketball player I can be. With my first touch of the ball, I knew I was going to work day in and day out to complete my dream. I enjoy all of the aspects of basketball, whether it is shooting, dribbling, passing, or defense, and I will always work equally hard at all of those. In addition, it isn't just the game that makes me love it so much, it is also the people I meet along the way. I love the feeling of knowing that your teammates will always be there to cheer you on and lift you up when you are down. The friendship that is created when you play basketball is forever and that friendship makes basketball 100 times better.
