Tianna Conway '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tianna Conway and I'm currently a Senior at Watkinson HS. I aspire to ultimately be an anesthesiologist however that's the end result of my journey. I have a long time to go so for now I'm working on being the best I can be in all things that I do. First I'd like to continue making honor roll each academic semester of my high school career. I'm trying to graduate with at least a 3.75 GPA in order to have a solid academic foundation for my future. I'm working hard to assist my team and we won the New England Prep School Athletic Conference class D championship this year and I was nominated MVP of the game/tournament. I'll continue to do whatever my coach and team needs. I was also selected as an all star for NEPSAC for the second straight year. I would like to get a full athletic scholarship to college to play basketball and pursue the aforementioned academic goals. I have a lot of work to do in the classroom and on the basketball court in order to make my dreams become a reality. Therefore, I use the Conway PRIDE Philosophy to keep me focused that is as follows: P-is Is to have PRIDE in everything you do; R-is having RESPECT for yourself and others. It's also the RESPONSIBILITY you have to be the best in all things you try to do; I-is the INTEGRITY you exhibit daily; and Being honest about your strengths, weaknesses, abilities, emotions, desires, dreams, and goals; D-is the DISCIPLINE to do what is right instead of wrong; Also the DEDICATION to yourself in making sure that your Dreams become Reality; E-is the God Given EXCELLENCE you can achieve for yourself with belief and faith. The above-mentioned philosophy is what my father instills in my siblings and I at the age of thirteen and it is what I live by. So this is the foundation that I have as I continue striving to elevate myself academically and athletically.
