Hello,
My name is Tia Jaquias, and I started playing basketball at the age of 10; since then I have grown passionate about the sport. It has taught me substantial lessons that not only pertain to athletics but to life as well. I have learned resilience, discipline, and the importance of establishing goals for yourself. At the beginning of my basketball journey, I experienced a minor setback that had kept me out of the game for two months. I injured my wrist: and because of that I was able to focus on other aspects of my game, making me a better player than I was before the injury. Constantly acquiring new information and applying them on and off the court are top priorities of mine, and I’d like to continue doing so by playing at the collegiate level.
