Sometimes I think if I started too late, but basketball is something I’m dedicated to. So I keep pushing myself I tell myself it’s never too late. I never thought I could even come close to going into a college but academically Ive also pushed myself. What makes me different than other recruiters is I’m not the five star athlete that puts 30 points a game but I am athletic, I’m hard working, and I’m trust worthy. Im a team player and I have respect for everyone who steps on the court because I used to watch from the bleachers and wished I can play and now I put my time into playing trying to higher my skills. My coach knows how to tell me my skill set is low and all my mistakes I make, I don’t even recall of any complements during my games but I take that as my motivation to make sure I’m coachable and doing something about it everyone makes mistakes but I won’t let that define me because if I’m not the best, I have to strive to be the best version of myself. My goals to play in college is finding support of a staff who believes in the potential I have and creating a bond with new people who want to keep playing basketball after high school. I would be a good candidate because I have a growth mind set, in which I wont let myself or others fall behind I want myself and other to succeed in life. I pray others would say the same for my journey of basketball.
