Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to attend a four year university and major in Athletic Training or Pre-Physical Therapy and minor in Psychology. After completing my undergraduate degree, I aspire to obtain my graduate degree. While pursuing my degree, I have goals to launch my career by securing an internship with a high school, college or professional athletic team. Upon graduation, I would like to start my career in helping and rehabilitating people.
My versatility as an athlete makes me a good candidate for the team. I show consistency on both ends of the court to impact the game. I am respected by my peers as a leader and a team player. My persistence, dedication and work ethic allows me to strive to be the best player I can be, while bringing out the best in my teammates.
I am different from other recruits in character because I am unselfish. I like helping others achieve their goals and being there for them whenever they need someone. I genuinely care about others' well-being and happiness. Because of this, I am able to build trusting and lasting relationships with people. My positive attitude allows me to encourage and motivate my team, while having a strong work ethic allows me to lead by example on and off the court. As a student-athlete, I demonstrate time management by being able to balance my academics and extra-curricular activities. I strive to challenge myself with Honors and AP courses and gain community service hours by exceeding my Sports Medicine required hours.
