2012 Highlights Personal Statement
I was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. I came to Lenexa, Kansas when I was eight years old. I started playing competitive AAU basketball in 3rd grade when I joined the Missouri Valley Eclipse. I played with the Eclipse for two years, and then joined the Missouri Valley Hoopstars which later became the Missouri Valley Blazers. I was with that team for a total of four years before dropping to my own age division. This past year we dropped the Blazers name and became the KC Thundercats. Throughout my time playing AAU basketball and traveling around the nation, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of highly successful and winning organizations. We had the honor of placing 4th nationally twice and 5th once. My future aspirations are to continue my competitive basketball career on the collegiate level by obtaining a basketball athletic/academic scholarship(s). I appreciate all collegiate coaches and administrators viewing my profile and I would be happy to speak with you personally about my college aspirations.
