I have been playing basketball since I was 10 years old. Since I first stepped on the court, I have had a long term goal of playing at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could better me on and off the court.
I have strong ball handling skills, strong physical defense, and a mental toughness on the court. I am the captain of my current basketball team where I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to succeed. I have recently held the 2023-2024 KHSAA title of top leading scorer in the State for Points per Game. I have surpassed my career 3000th point and currently hold the record for the All-Time Scoring leader in Kentucky for Region 1 for boys and girls. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits that you'll find.
In the classroom, I study hard to maintain my 3.9 GPA. I have excelled in academics and have taken both honors and AP classes throughout my high school years. I am also taking dual credit hours to start my college courses early.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and also on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right match at the highest competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to not only my peers, but my community as well.
