Piper Cotham '27 Recruiting Profile

Last year as an 8th grader, I was 5'1" but in a post-game interview with a sports writer, he told me I played like I was 7 ft tall...that's who I am.  I'm a hard worker and give 100% in everything I do, whether it's in the classroom, on the court or on the field.  I'm a straight A student and dual sport athlete playing softball and basketball, which is my 1st love.  I work hard every day. I stay late to get up extra shots, I go to the gym for strength and conditioning 3 days a week and even try to get shots up on the weekend.  I'm a team 1st player who wants to win so I work hard to make myself better, but I want to make my teammates better too.  I love to bring the energy to my team.   

I'm a Christian, I love Jesus and know that God gave me the ability to play ball.  Both of my parents are coaches so I've grown up in church and in the gym.  God, basketball and family really is life.  My goal is to keep it that way and I would love the opportunity to continue my career and play basketball at the collegiate level.
